The year is 2071. Humanity has expanded its civilization into the stars as a new generation of outlaws are born. Rewards to stop these outlaws are taken up by bounty hunters know as cowboys, including the legendary Spike Spiegal and Jet Black, saving the world and making a quick buck to buy some food. Cowboy Bebop is an anime series that first ran in Japan in 1998, and has been credited for introducing a significant number of American viewers to anime.
